Apartment ID

The design brief was to create a focal point in a double height Living space for a prized bronze buddha statue.  We designed a matt black timber panel with hand carved calligraphy finished in gold leaf, and fabricated in Thailand.  The statue floats on a steel plate in front of the calligraphy panel, with adjustable lighting to suite the mood of the occasion.
